This lab is also known as the most difficult lab I have had to work on to date. Starting with the problems I encountered working with mapbox. The directions for our lab must have been written 2 years ago and there have been many updates to the software since then. Enough updates to where the instructions made almost zero sense. I had to trial and error almost every step of the way through this lab. The HTML portion of the lab was tough as well, I think mainly due to the inacurracy in the instructions again. There was a portion of the lab that required us to share our tileframe by getting our link for leaflet. This is no longer an option on mapbox. Over and over again I chose the wrong link. I eventually had to look at source codes from other classmates maps to find out what they were doing and how they were linking their styles to leaflet. I see where building a web map could be extremely beneficial I just wish the instructions had been updated prior. These things have got to be 2 years out of date.
This was a continuation from last weeks lab. We created a layer in QGIS. Converted it to mapbox in order to create a web map. I will use these techniques and processes to create a web map for my final report.
